For the first time during this mild winter, central North Carolina has the potential to see some snow late Thursday night into the early hours of Friday. Forecasts range from a few flakes that melt on contact to as much as 3 inches, depending on your location. The latest WRAL Weather forecast (as of 2 p.m. Wednesday) was for light accumulation, mainly on grassy surfaces, especially north of the Triangle.
Once logged into WRAL.com or Facebook, predict the cumulative amount of measurable snowfall that will be recorded at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Thursday night and Friday morning by clicking the "My Prediction" tab. Ties will be broken based on a random drawing of players who submitted the correct answer.
Contest submissions will close at 8 p.m. ET Thursday, Jan. 17. You may change your prediction as often as you want prior to 8 p.m. Thursday, but only the last prediction submitted will count. Winners will be announced no later than Saturday, Jan. 19.
The winner will receive a $100 VISA gift card.
